- President
Islamic Republic of Pakistan, His Excellency
General Pervez Musharraf was the Chief
Guest at the Networking Dinner of Textile
Asia 2005 Exhibition.

Federal
Minister for Textile Industry, Honourable
Mushtaq Ali Cheema was also the Chief
Guest at the International Textile
Fashion Show, took place at D.H.A Golf
Club on March 19, 2005 where World's
renowned designer and U.N Peace Award
Winner Bibi Russell along with the
locally recognized designer Rizwan
Beyg flaunted her latest spring and
summer collection. The aim behind the
show was to promote the Soft Image
of Pakistan.

Governor
Sindh, Honorable Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad
Khan hosted the Networking Dinner
of Textile Asia 2005 Exhibition at
the Sindh's Governor House dated
March 20, 2005 which was attended
by over 700 individuals
that formulate the elite class of
our society.

Over 500 Foreign
Delegates including Overseas Pakistanis
from 48 Countries graced International
Textile Asia 2005 Exhibition.

Over 200 VVIPs
visited Textile Asia 2005 as our valued
Guests of Honour including numerous
Federal Ministers, high-level Armed
Forces & Government Officials,
Consulate Generals, Foreign Delegates
and heads of Multinationals, Local
Giants and other Textile organizations.

Several
MoUs were signed during Textile Asia
2005 Exhibition which resulted in millions
of US $ business between Pakistani
Textile Companies and their International
Counterparts.

Match
making meetings among ministers, dignitaries
and foreign delegates took place, which
boosted the morale of foreign businessmen
and developed a soft image of Pakistan.
- Textile
Asia 2005 Press and Media Center coordinated
with more than 60 print
and electronic media representatives
from Pakistan and abroad that have gathered
for coverage of the event. More than 11 Special
Supplements were published by all the
leading Urdu and English Newspapers and
Show Dailies were published to highlight
the day-to-day proceedings of the event.
Special Coverage was also provided by
the leading Textile magazines of the
country.

To
attract maximum visitors from the corporate
sector of the country, the organizers
made serious efforts and took many
initiatives such as conducting Pre-Event
seminars throughout Pakistan that resulted
in over 100,000 people
attending the Country's largest Textile
Event from all over Pakistan.
- Comprehensive
documents on expertise & business
area of Textile Asia 2005 were distributed
to Foreign Delegates to ensure effectiveness
for trade matching.

Documentaries were made of Textile
Asia 2005 Exhibition and International
Textile Fashion Show which were aired
on several International and local
satellite channels including BBC, CNBC,
CNN, PTV, GEO TV, INDUS, ARY-Digital
etc.

arrangements of Seminar Room, Hospitality
Suites for bilateral meetings, Business
Center with necessary facilities, Refreshment
Areas in each Hall, Executive Food
Court, Mineral Water arrangements and
Prayer Area were made during Textile
Asia 2005.

Jinnah Terminal was decorated to give
a warm welcome to the foreign delegates,
government dignitaries and corporate
visitors arriving for Textile Asia
2005.

Shuttle Service and City Tour Facilities
were provided to Foreign Delegates.

Special
24 hours logistic services were available
to the Exhibitors of Textile Asia 2005
Exhibition for the movement of their
machineries at the venue.

As
a result of tremendous success of Textile
Asia 2005 International Exhibition, 70% stalls
were already booked as of March 30,
2005 for Textile Asia 2006 Exhibition.
