15TH TEXTILE ASIA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR FROM MARCH 9
Karachi, February 2nd, 2016: Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association announced to hold 15th Textile Asia 2016 International Textile & Garment Machinery Trade Fair incorporating Clothing, Fabric & Textile Asia in Karachi in collaboration with Ecommerce Gateway (Pvt) Ltd. This 3-days trade fair will held from 09-11 March, 2016 and has been termed as the Pakistan’s biggest B2B textile, garment, embroidery, digital printing machineries and chemical and allied services. The trade fair will provide an effective podium for joint ventures/ collaborations to the textile SMEs and provide a platform to its international participants to meet respective Pakistani business personals to make future business leads in Pakistan. 15th Textile Asia 2016 will focus on the immense buying selling potential of textile & garment industry and poised to introduce overseas suppliers of textile & garment materials, accessories & parts and machinery to the textile industry of Pakistan. This will complement their efforts for high quality, value added products and assist them to further develop their business in the export markets. The trade fair will have more than 550 International Brands displaying their products in over 700 Booths and Over 500 foreign delegates mainly from Austria, SA etc. will grace the event. The expected visitor turnout is over 65,000.

FEDERAL MINISTER FOR COMMERCE ENGR. KHURRAM DASTGIR KHAN TO INAUGRATE 15TH TEXTILE ASIA 2016 ON MARCH 9
Karachi, February 8nd, 2016: Federal Minister for Commerce Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan will inaugurate the 15th International Textile Asia Trade Fair to be held at Karachi Expo Centre from 09-11 March, 2016. The Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PRGMEA) is organizing this mega textile trade fair in Karachi in collaboration with Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan, where more than 65,000 trade and corporate visitors are expected to visit during three days. The exhibition is aimed at focusing the immense buying and selling potential of textile and garment machinery, accessories, raw material supplies, chemicals and allied services under one roof. PRGMEA Central chairman, Shaikh Mohammad Shafiq, said that thee-day mega event is being held to boost export of value-added sector by bringing latest garment technology at door step and this activity is being done to facilitate the exporters of not only Karachi but all over Pakistan. He further said that the International Textile Asia Trade Show is one of the most and enduring events to be held for the 15th successive year. The trade fair is being organized at the most opportune time when the government is looking forward to modernize and upgrade the textile sector of the country for better quality products and enhanced productivity.
